How to Customize our html Template With Your Own Brand and Logo Introduction This article will explain the process to get your new website personalized with your own brand, logo. Choose One of Our Available Templates We currently have three different templates. Choose the one that best matches your company’s image. Click the following link to preview and download storefront templates: https://www.pointivity.net/pc2/marketing/Branding%20Services/Forms/AllItems.aspx Replace “your logo here” with your own logo The default path and file name for the logo is “images/logo.jpg”. If you change the filename or if your logo is in GIF format, you will need to update the following pages with the correspondent file name: Default.htm Includes/top.htm Includes/top_contact.htm Includes/top_hostedexchange.htm Includes/top_hostedsharepoint.htm Includes/top_sitemap.htm Includes/top_support.htm Includes/top_wireless.htm To keep the original appearance of your template, we strongly suggest you adjust your logo size to the same size as the one you are replacing (logo.jpg). Update your storefront template information You need to update your new storefront template with your company name and contact information. 1. You will need to use Microsoft SharePoint Designer, Macromedia Dreamweaver or any other HTML editor to update your .html pages. 2. Open all the site’s html and shtml files, including the ones in the “includes” folder. Then select one of the html files (default.htm) and do a global replace. Replace "YourCompanyName" with your own company name, this will update all the html/shtml pages with your real company name. Make sure you do a "replace all" and in "source code." NOTE: If your html editor does not have the global replace feature, you will need to modify your template page by page. 3. To personalize the footer of your pages with your company name, open the "includes/bottom.htm" file and then replace YourCompanyName with your own company name. 4. Then select the "Contact.shtm" file and update all the contact information such as address, phone and email to your own information. 5. Do a find and replace with the html editor and locate the code https://store.clientdomain/index.php? and simply replace "clientdomain" with your own domain and the url will redirect the shopping cart to your own e-commerce checkout. Note: If you downloaded your template prior to 02/19/2009, make sure you replace the title "Private Label Hosted Exchange and SharePoint – Reseller Custom pricing" with "YourCompanyName - Hosted Exchange and SharePoint". To accomplish this, you can open all of the pages with your HTML editor and do a Global Replace (please refer to step #2). 6. After you completed these changes, upload the entire folder to your web server via FTP. Note: If for some reason you need to add or remove pages from your storefront template, please make sure you update the sitemap.shtml page.
